The Sussex Art Shuttle is a hop-on-hop-off minibus running every weekend between Towner Eastbourne, Charleston, Seven Sisters Country Park and Charleston’s new arts space in central Lewes.

Rothesay International (Eastbourne)

June will see Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park open its doors once again to the Rothesay International (Eastbourne) WTA tournament, which has run in Eastbourne since 1975, showcasing some of the world's finest female tennis talent as well as the men from the ATP tour as they prepare for Wimbledon.

The sunny seaside setting has played host to some of the legends of the game, with previous champions including Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, Virginia Wade, Caroline Wozniacki, Ekaterina Makarova, Kim Clijsters and Lindsey Davenport.

Enjoy the garden party atmosphere with Pimms, strawberries, champagne and picnics, or watch the stars warm up on the practice courts at close quarters.

22-29th June Rothesay International Tennis Eastbourne

Airbourne - Eastbourne International Airshow

The UK's biggest free seafront airshow returns with 4 days of spectacular flying and its all FREE!


Featuring the best of the RAF and international display teams across the four miles length of seafront and over national beauty spot Beachy Head.

Event also includes childrens entertainment areas, arena events, evening concerts, military exhibition area and end of show fireworks.

Featuring Fast Jets, Aerobatic Displays, Helicopters, Freefall Parachutists and much more!

Ground displays open 11am - 6pm daily, with flying from lunchtime until approx. 5pm.

15th –18th August Airbourne – Eastbourne International Airshow

Eastbourne Pride

The award winning Eastbourne Pride event is back and promises a day full of fun, love and support for the LGBT community.

Local charity BourneOutLGBT present their family friendly and inclusive Pride event to the Eastbourne community. With the Pride Party in Princes Park promising a whole host of entertainment and live music, the colourful Pride parade will set off at 12:00 from Eastbourne Pier and head along the seafront to join the party.

Entry to Princes Park is with tickets only (under 16s go free). Tickets can be purchased online and will be swapped for an entry wristband on arrival.

20th July Eastbourne Pride

Beach Life Music Festival

Beachlife Music and Street Food Festival, the south coast's coolest, funkiest weekend is back and guaranteed to keep you entertained all weekend long!

Look forward to a packed two days filled with outdoor pursuits! Featuring a Music Stage & Bar, gourmet delights from across the world, Skate Park, Roller Derby, a funfair and more!

Visitors can get a taste for an extreme experience too with time on Eastbourne's shores as Buzz Active offer sessions in windsurfing and sailing.

Eastbourne Sk8school provide skating displays along with the ever popular Roller Derby at the Cage, Fisherman's Green.

Stand up paddleboarding or ‘SUP’ for short is taking the world by storm. It’s great for adults and kids alike, and Buzz Active offer lots of ways to try out this latest water sport at either of their centres, book a private lesson, join the social sessions or grab your friends and take part in the XL Paddleboard competition!

13-14th July Beach Life Music and Food Festival

Guided walk around Historic Meads

Enjoy a leisurely guided walk around Meads with local guide, Kim Adams, including the Italian Gardens, St John's Church, Meads Village and the wonderful mansion houses 'where the Downs meet the sea'. The walks are free, start at 2pm outside the tea chalet in the Helen Garden, and last around 90 minutes. No need to book, just turn up! Walks will go ahead whatever the weather.

Join us for a behind the scenes tour of our wonderful theatres. Book early as spaces for each tour are limited.

Explore life beyond the auditorium, enjoy a guided visit around the venues, take to the stage, explore backstage and take a look at areas not usually open to the public, finishing with a cup of tea (or coffee)!

Ed Sheeran Tribute Show with The Ed Sheeran Experience

Presenting Jack Shepherd's world-renowned Ed Sheeran tribute show, playing all over the world since 2015. Jack recreates every song completely live using a replica loop pedal to that of the man himself. This show will be the full 'Ed Sheeran Experience' including a live band.

Pop-up Park

Eastbourne’s Victoria Place is being transformed into a park once again with live music, family fun and so much more!

With a lawn, picnic tables, floral displays and giant deckchairs, this pop-up park provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and watch the world go by. Surrounded by independent shops and restaurants, with a cheeky drink or two available from cafes, bars and eateries too, you will be spoilt for choice.
